TH Daniels is proud to have partnered with a market leader within the Packaging & Containers industry in their search for a Principal Design & Mechanical Engineer.

 

This role will take a leadership role across all aspects of Product Development, Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement within the Packaging & Containers business unit.

 

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

 

• Eligible to work in the USA without visa sponsorship
• Located in the Kansas City Area – relocation will be provided if required
• 10+ years’ experience within a Manufacturing environment with exposure to Injection Moulding Manufacturing applications
• Demonstrable experience in achieving improvements/efficiencies within daily manufacturing processes
• Previous experience in a managerial, supervisory or mentoring role over a muti-disciplined engineering group

 

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited:

 

• Responsible for taking a leading role in all product design activities from quote to delivery for the Packaging & Containers business unit
• Provide leadership in manufacturing & production phases to increase efficiency and improve on-time product delivery
• Partner cross-functionally to identify and target areas for improvement within key phases of the manufacturing supply chain
• Work across multiple US manufacturing plants to improve best practices and achieve process improvement
• Work closely with blue-chip customers across multiple industries to drive R&D/New Product Development within the product portfolio
